We only access data required to provide the functionality of the app. Specifically:
- Spotify Data: We access your "Top Artists" and "Top Tracks" via the Spotify Web API.
- YouTube Data: We access your "Liked Videos" playlist via the YouTube Data API.
- Technical Data: Temporary authentication tokens (OAuth) required to fetch this data on your behalf.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your data solely for the following purpose:
- To generate a satirical "roast" text response using Artificial Intelligence.
- To verify your identity via OAuth providers (Spotify and Google).
We do NOT sell, trade, or rent your personal data to third parties.
4. Data Retention (Transient Processing)
We do not store your music history or profile data.
Your data is fetched, sent to the AI model for processing, and immediately discarded from our servers once the response is generated. We only store the final "roast" text temporarily on your device for display.
5. Third-Party Services
We share data with the following third-party service providers to function:
- Google Gemini (AI): Your artist list/video titles are sent to Google's AI API to generate the text.
- Vercel/Netlify: For hosting the web application infrastructure.
Google's use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
